Many years of experience with processes and the processing of liquids containing organic as well as inorganic material have taught us the importance of being able to remove inorganic elements and keeping the organic ones.

Thus, sediment is avoided in reactors, pumps and pipelines are protected from unnecessary wear, and the process is optimised.

We have a number of mechanical solutions at our disposal as well as the knowledge that can contribute to removing undesirable content in the added biomass and ensuring stable operations of the plant.

In close cooperation with a number of experts within the agricultural sector, including cattle farming consultants, veterinarians and cattle farmers, Stjernholm has developed a product line and a process enabling the use of sand in cow cubicles in stocks of cattle without the previous problems that occurred when handling sandy slurry.

The service department at Stjernholm has 15 years of experience in the field of servicing purification and water treatment plants throughout Denmark. Our customised service cars are equipped to handle as many tasks as possible on the spot, and our service technicians are trained to service all types of equipment and machine components both inside and outside the fence.

Working with Stjernholm as your partner, all your service needs are covered by one supplier, no matter who delivered the utility machinery and equipment in the first place. In case of machine failure or damage, we have a large stock of material that we can make available until the facility is up and running again.

Once a task has been completed, we tidy the place. Afterwards, we document the service in a service report, including information on consumption and remarks on things to observe.

We are already established in the USA with our own company. We also cooperate with a number of dealers in the USA who help us introduce those of our products that are most suitable for export to the wastewater industry as well as to the agricultural sector.

We are also in contact with several potential buyers, specifically within the Chinese agricultural sector, where our system to separate sand and manure has great potential. We are also open to cooperation within sewage treatment, and we continuously assess cooperation possibilities in other export markets.

Stjernholm A/S is a commercial, production, engineering and consulting company specialising in innovative environmental solutions for sewage treatment plants, farming, biogas and the chemical/technical industries.

With products and knowledge within pre-treatment, processes, sludge processing, installations “outside the fence” and our own service organisation, we have assumed a central position at the water treatment market at public as well as private sewage treatment plants and waterworks in Denmark.

One of our key competences is the separation of organic and inorganic material in various liquids. To solve that task, we have supplied more than 100 installations through the years, based on our self-produced Stjernholm Sand Washer.

Since 2015, we have marketed a system to separate slurry and sand for Danish as well as foreign milk producers that use sand in the cow cubicles. The Stjernholm Sand Washer and our specialist knowledge are essential factors here as well.
