Din Forsyning has replaced their old perforated plate and bar screens from Stjernholm A/S new model from FSM in Germany, and even after a short time, could they observe that considerably less screenings material had passed the screens, resulting in that the sand and fat is cleaner than before. This is clearly seen on the sand and fat chamber’s surface and subsequently in the washed sand.
It has already given Din Forsyning a better operation, and everyone is looking forward to less screening material in the drained sludge from the Wastewater Treatment Plant West.
This improvement will have an impact on the sand that is washed and recycled, as well as on the operation and quality of machinery and cleaning processes.
