Stjernholm delivers to Silicon Valley

Fair and constructive cooperation with Silicon Valley Clean Water has resulted in an order for two Stjernholm SR 2500 grit washers with two augers.

Silicon Valley Clean Water is one of California’s major wastewater treatment plants, which has gone through an extensive renovation over the past few years. At Stjernholm we are proud to be chosen as a supplier for a significant part of this renovation – not least because the order was awarded to us based on a Total Cost of Ownership-calculation.

Stjernholm SR 2500 can retain 90% of grit > 125 microns µm and the grit output has less than 3% organics and 95% total solids. The capacity with two augers is three tons of sand per hour per grit washer.

In order for us to disturb the traffic as little as possible, the grit washers transported from the shop in Randers in the dead of night!
